 Walking & Heritage Tours

Explore the ancient burial sites of Newgrange (Brú na Bóinne) and Loughcrew, the seat of the High Kings of Ireland at Tara or the more recent history of the Boyne Valley at the site of the Battle of the Boyne, the Hill of Slane andSlane Castle. 

Rock Farm Ecotourism can offer guided tours of all the above sites as well as walking tours of the local area.

Botanical walking tours of the local area are also available upon request. 

Electric Bicycles

From March 2013 Rock Farm Ecotourism 
will offer electric bicycles for rental as 
part of our ecotourism packages and 
for rental to visitors to the local area. 

Takes the pain out of cycling and allows you to experience the open road and the hidden gems of the Boyne Valley

Kayaking & Rafting

Rock Farm Ecotourism offers rafting trips, kayaking tours and archeological trips along the Boyne in partnership with Boyne Valley Activities

Kayaking Level 1 to Level 3training is offered as part of a 5 - 7 day activity package, including accommodation at Hare's Leap Luxury Eco Camp and electric bicycle hire to allow you to sample the delights of the Boyne Valley from the river, the road and the fields around.
