The Farm

At the heart of Rock Farm Slane is a working organic farm where nature, food and sustainability come together. Set across 150 acres on the Slane Castle Estate, the farm is home to pasture, woodland, wildlife habitats and a diverse range of animals. Organic farming practices help protect biodiversity, improve soil health and support a thriving natural environment. Visitors can explore the farm through guided tours, walking trails and seasonal experiences, gaining an insight into sustainable food production and life on the land. From eco-building projects and regenerative farming methods to fresh produce and outdoor adventures, the farm remains the foundation of everything we do at Rock Farm.

“We had a great overnight stay in one of the Oak Yurts. Inside was extremely cozy and warm even before lighting the stove, the facilities are great! Fully kitted out kitchen and plenty of toilets.
