Rock Farm Slane is ideal for family reunions and group parties looking to do something different. We can guide you on creating a truly memorable glamping experience including a diverse range of activity packages for your group.
Ideally you will be up for sharing accommodation (there are some double beds in the Yurts/Shepherd's Huts) but this package will really offer you a back to nature alternative – go on – let your inner Bear Grylls out!

Kayaking
Kayaking is an ideal group activity! There’s nothing better than messing about on the river and here at Rock Farm Slane we have the River Boyne at our door step. Go kayaking, starting at Stackallen Bridge and ending on the Boyne Meadow (just beside the bridge at Slane). We work with local experienced guides and instructors to ensure you have the most memorable and safe experience out on the water.
Land Based
Visit heritage sites: Newgrange (Brun Na Boinne) complex, Battle of the Boyne, Monasterboice, Hill of Tara. Hiking, iron man, bushcraft, foraging, archery, with UFC Gladiator Battle, Bubble Soccer, Disco Dodgeball and so much more at nearby Boycey Sports. Farming forfeits available!
Water Based
Kayaking and fishing.
Slane Castle Whiskey Tasting, organised through the Castle.
Why not try the famous Slane Castle Irish Whiskey Tour inside the Castle itself – presented by Alex Mount Charles (minimum numbers required)
Accommodation
From St Patrick's Day to Halloween we have 5 Yurts and 2 Shepherd's Huts sleeping up to 28 guests sharing. Enjoy a fun back to nature experience surrounded by the great outdoors without compromising on your creature comforts

The Lime House is Rock Farm Slane’s 2-storey 6-bedroom eco guesthouse, enjoy the luxury of a newly built house while still having the farm experience. The full house sleeps up to 22 people in 6 bedrooms.

Food & Catering Options
Whilst we operate as a self-catering campsite there are some options we can offer groups – one less thing to worry about and we will have ready for your arrival.
We have a large BBQ area for you to cook your food as well as a handmade CLAY OVEN perfect for FRESHLY BAKED PIZZA. We also have a large gas hob inside the kitchen of Le Shack for your food prep too.
Prefer to self cater? – Just come prepared with your own food and make use of the facilities on site.
