Rock Farm Slane offers luxury ecotourism glamping & accommodation on the River Boyne, perfect for a fun-packed
holidays or private events. Our accommodation is open all year round in our holiday homes, and glamping in our
Swallow’s Nest and Shepherd's Huts. Our luxury glamping yurts are available from St. Patrick's Day to Halloween
and our Bell Tents are available June to August each year.
We offer stays for everyone, from single travellers, couples and families visiting Slane, Newgrange (Brú na Bóinne), Emerald Park, the River Boyne or The Boyne Valley, as well as those wanting to participate in adventure activities and large groups of up to 30 people.
We can also host weddings, celebrations and corporate events with Farm Tours, Group Activities and other options.
Glamping at Rock Farm Slane
The luxury Eco Glamping is nestled on a beautiful hillside overlooking Slane Castle, enclosed in a secret grove of parkland trees overlooking meadows and the demesne woodlands on the North bank of the River Boyne. The Glamping boasts quick access to the beautiful Boyne Meadow along the River Boyne and the Boyne Navigation Ramparts Walk below which will take you into Slane or along the river to Navan. The parkland surrounding the boutique campsite is a designated Natural Heritage Area and Special Area of Conservation and includes an interesting bird population (herons, cormorants, egrets) and a thriving population of Irish hares who are often seen leaping across the field on their way to neighbouring pasture or woodland.

The whole Glamping area is available to book for private hire. We also have the Lime House (with 6 en-suite rooms) and the River House (with 5 bedrooms) for whole house hire.
Choose Your Stay
Our cosy Shepherds Huts sleep two people each. Lit with lanterns (candles and powerful torches) and heated by a wood stove, our Shepherd's Huts are ideal for adventurous campers looking to get back to nature.
Our luxury bell tents are carpeted and furnished with mattresses, linen and fresh towels. Located in our Old Town Field and offered as part of our Bell Tent Village for Groups.
A unique straw bale cabin built out of barley straw from the farm, local clay and lime plaster. This bright and inviting cabin sleeps 2 people and a baby cot with uninterrupted views across farmland and woods beyond.
With six large bedrooms the Lime House can sleep up to twenty two. The spacious living and dining area offers multipurpose space suitable for a range of activities and meetings. Enjoy the luxury of a newly built house within a farm experience.
Located at the bottom of Rock Farm Slane close to Slane Bridge and 5 minutes walk from the historic village of Slane, the River House is a 5 bedroom detached house that sleeps up to 10 people surrounded by a garden.

Fabulous Experience
Stayed at Rock farm recently for my husbands birthday. We booked the entire site and invited friends and their children. We had a fantastic weekend and all who stayed complimented the location and the facilities. Some had never camped or glamped before and were blown away - words like "the best weekend of our life".
Gorgeous Glamping
My partner, six month-old daughter, and I stayed in Hazel Yurt for two nights as part of a wedding party. The yurt felt very private and was in a beautiful spot. It was lovely to hear the wind, birds, rain etc from outside while being cosy inside.
Rock Farm Rocks
Thanks so much Rock Farm, we had a fab time as part of our annual reunion for Groovefest. The kitchens were spotless and really well equipped. The camp kitchen was an easy social space and we had music and dancing overlooking the hollow with views of the Boyne... it was idyllic.
